The Old Bible

A story is told of a man who loved old books. He met an old friend who had just thrown away an old Bible he had found in his loft.

'I couldn't read it' he said,' someone called Gluten-something had printed it'.

'Not Gutenberg!' said the book lover in horror, 'that Bible was one of the first books ever printed. A copy just sold for £2 million.'

His friend was unimpressed. 'I wouldn't have got £5 for it, some guy called Martin Luther had scribbled all over it in German'
